Jake Troxel (he/him)

Jake Troxel is a Jersey Mike’s manager with a big heart and a bigger passion for empowering LGBTQ+ youth. As a proud gay member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jake draws on his own journey to create spaces filled with love, compassion, and grace.

Jake’s advocacy began during his time as an openly gay missionary, where he embraced opportunities to mentor and connect with others. He also served as a youth counselor last year, further strengthening his commitment to uplifting LGBTQIA individuals. As a counselor, Jake brings leadership, patience, and an unparalleled ability to work with youth from all walks of life.

Through his role, Jake hopes participants gain a deeper sense of self-worth and confidence in who they are and what they believe. He hopes to show that understanding, grace, and compassion are the foundation for a brighter future.

In his free time, Jake enjoys video games, singing, exploring nature, and working with his hands. A lifelong fan of The Hunger Games, he finds inspiration in stories of resilience and the power of individuals to change the world.

Jake’s values—honesty, grit, and compassion—guide him every day, along with the belief that every person has infinite worth. With his warm and genuine approach, Jake is here to make sure everyone he meets feels seen, valued, and supported.
